2. Matte Finish (Colors 10-14):
- A softer, low-sheen finish with calm, pastel-inspired colors. Its understated appearance gives the portrait a gentler, more modern feel. Over time, the surface may become smoother and develop a subtle natural glow.

Crafting, Delivery & Order Care
Crafting Time: Approximately 3–4 Weeks: We’ll send you a design proof before hand-carving begins. Once you approve the design, please allow approximately 3–4 weeks for your portrait to be shaped, carved, and painted by hand. We take time with each detail, so every piece is made with care rather than rushed.
Shipping Estimates:
Once your keepsake is finished and dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number by email. Standard delivery usually takes 6–10 business days to the USA, UK, and most European destinations, and 8–15 business days to Canada and other destinations. Delivery times may vary depending on local customs and carrier conditions.
Custom Order Cancellation Policy:
Because every KeePetO portrait is created specifically from your photo and cannot be resold, cancellation terms depend on how far your order has progressed:
- Before design work begins: You’ll receive a full refund.
- After the design proof is sent: A £76 artist fee will be retained to cover the custom design work already completed.
- After hand-carving begins: Once the design has been approved and carving has started, the order becomes final and non-refundable.
- Damaged on arrival: If your keepsake arrives damaged or has a major manufacturing defect, please email support@keepeto.com within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos. We’ll review the issue and arrange a replacement when applicable.

Every KeePetO portrait begins with the photo you provide and is shaped, carved, and painted entirely by hand. We do not use laser engraving, molds, or flat printing for the finished portrait.
Our artisans study the features that make your pet recognizable — the shape of their face, ears, markings, fur direction, and expression — and translate them into a gently raised leather portrait. Because every piece is made by hand, small variations are natural and part of what makes your keepsake uniquely yours.
Natural Leather and Solid Brass Hardware
Your portrait is made with full-grain vegetable-tanned leather and finished with solid brass hardware, chosen for their durability and the way they develop character over time.
The finished piece can be carried on your keys or bag, or displayed at home as a personal keepsake. Since leather is a natural material, each hide has its own grain and texture. Slight differences in color, surface, and markings are normal and should not be considered defects.

Is each portrait handmade or AI-generated?

Can I review the design before carving begins?

How long will it take to make and receive my keepsake?
After you approve the design, hand-carving and painting usually take approximately 3–4 weeks. Standard delivery generally takes an additional 6–15 business days, depending on your destination.

Which portrait style should I choose?

Can you create portraits of pets other than dogs and cats?
Yes, in many cases. We can often create portraits of rabbits, birds, hamsters, and other animal companions, as long as the photo clearly shows the features and details needed for carving.
